Krista - Author of Cry With Me Sister

About Krista

Krista is a trauma-informed healing facilitator, poet, and the author of Cry With Me Sister, a deeply personal poetry collection launching September 23, 2025. Through her vulnerable and transformative words, she invites others into the sacred journey of healing from trauma, offering both witness to pain and hope for renewal.

Through her Cry With Me Sister practice, Krista offers one-on-one coaching for women navigating trauma recovery. Drawing from her own lived experience and deep training, she guides women with compassion, wisdom, and a belief that healing is possible when we are truly seen and supported.

Krista also hosts transformative women's circles and creates communities where vulnerability is honored and healing is shared. Her work is rooted in the belief that we heal in relationship with others, and that our stories, when shared with courage—become medicine for both ourselves and those who witness them.

In addition to her work with women, Krista is the founder of Kind Spirit Kids, an emotional wellness program for children offered virtually and in community settings. Kind Spirit Kids provides a safe space for children to explore, express, and process their feelings through five core pillars: Movement, Connection, Space for Self, Breath Work, and Creative Expression. The program is designed to help kids build emotional awareness, self-love, and resilience in a playful and intentional environment. Krista also offers virtual programs and custom resources to support families and educators in nurturing emotional well-being at home or in group settings.

Through her poetry, Krista explores the cycles of breaking, healing, radiance, and gathering—mirroring the phases of the moon and the natural rhythms of transformation. Her words offer both witness to pain and hope for renewal, creating space for others to find their own voice in the darkness.

When she's not writing or facilitating classes, Krista can be found spending time with her husband and children, worldschooling and exploring new places together. She also loves walking in nature, gathering with her sister-friends, or sitting in quiet contemplation with herself. She believes deeply in the power of community, the wisdom of the body, and the healing that comes when we dare to cry together.
